Dr. Sam Owens, DDS
Dr. Sam is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has proudly built both his life and career in the community he calls home. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2005, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2010.
Following dental school, Dr. Sam spent five years practicing alongside a pediatric dentist in Tulsa, gaining valuable experience caring for children and families. In 2015, he joined his father, Dr. James Owens, and has now taken over the practice, continuing a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Sam is dedicated to providing high-quality dentistry in a welcoming and comfortable environment, taking time to ensure each patient feels informed and at ease. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children and remains active in the community he is proud to serve.
Dr. Beau Evans, DDS
Dr. Beau is a Tulsa native and Union High School graduate who proudly serves the community he calls home. He attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he played both soccer and tennis. It was also at Loras where he met his wife, Samantha, who is now a professor at Northeastern State University.
After completing dental school at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, Dr. Beau returned to Tulsa and has been practicing dentistry since 2010. He joined Aqua Dental in 2019 and is now a part owner, continuing his commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Dr. Beau stays actively involved in local dental outreach programs, including Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services, which provides dental care to patients in need. Outside of the office, he enjoys coaching and cheering on his two children, Breklyn and Crew, at their sporting events, as well as traveling with his family whenever possible.
Dr. Tara Denton, DDS
Dr. Tara is a Tulsa native. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical/Molecular Biology from Rogers State University. She continued on and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from The University of Oklahoma. Immediately upon graduating from dental school, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to complete a two-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency program at Temple University Hospital. Once her training was complete, she obtained her specialty license and shortly after became Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Tara is an Oklahoma Dental Association Leadership Academy graduate, past Eastern District Vice President of the Oklahoma Dental Association, an invited member of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Dental Focus Group, a standing committee member on ODA Rewards Partners, Oklahoma Dental Association Delegate, yearly Oklahoma Mission of Mercy Volunteer, and member of several associations and clubs including: American Laser Study Club, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Oklahoma Dental Association and Oklahoma Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Tara has a strong passion for pediatric dentistry and ensuring the kids in her community get the care they need. We are confident she will be a great asset to our Aqua Dental Team.
Our Nurse
Robyn Hood, CRNA
Robyn Hood is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialist. She graduated with honors in 2003 and has more than 16 years of experience.
She is a licensed registered nurse with advanced specialty education in anesthesia who, in collaboration with our dentists, provides preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
