Our Dentists

Dr. Jim Owens, DDS, MS

Dr. James Owens is a native of Dubuque, Iowa and earned a B.S. in biology from Loras College in 1973 and a D.D.S. from the University of Iowa in 1977. He then did a 2 year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Iowa and received a certificate and masters degree from there, completing it in 1979. He spent one year working with a pediatric dentist in Tulsa and in 1980 started his practice in Broken Arrow. 

Dr. Owens is a member of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Society of Dentistry for Children, The American Orthodontic Society, The Oklahoma Dental Association, and The American Dental Association. 

Dr. Owens loves his career and the children he serves. It has given him great pleasure to watch his patients grow up, become responsible adults, and having those former patients bring their children to the office for their dental care. Dr. Owens and his wonderful staff also love to volunteer their dental services for Neighbor for Neighbor and Mission of Mercy dental programs

Dr. Sam Owens, DDS

Dr. Samuel Owens is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and earned a B.S. in Psychology from The University of Oklahoma in 2005 and a D.D.S. from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry in 2010. He spent five years working with a pediatric dentist in Tulsa and in 2015 started practicing with his father Dr. James Owens in Broken Arrow. 

Dr. Samuel Owens is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The Tulsa County Dental Society, The Oklahoma Dental Association, and The American Dental Association. 

Dr. Owens enjoys being active in the dental community through volunteer work, including the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy as well as donating to local organizations and fundraisers.

Our Nurse

Robyn Hood, CRNA

Robyn Hood is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialist. She graduated with honors in 2003 and has more than 16 years of experience.  

She is a licensed registered nurse with advanced specialty education in anesthesia who, in collaboration with our dentists, provides preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
